THE TREES!
- NGT offers three categories of trees, Deciduous, Coniferous, Decorative & Fruit. There are ten different species of tree seedlings to choose from for your fundraiser.
- The trees are primarily native, some non-native, but never invasive.
- The trees are selected because of their beauty, utility, and their ability to flourish in their respective hardiness grow zone (USDA map).
- The hardiness zones for our tree seedlings range from 3 to 11.
- Bareroot baby tree seedlings 6 – 36+ inches tall are delivered to your school in the Fall or Spring ready for planting.

SCIENCE
Scientists agree, trees - nature's perfect machines - are a critical component in mitigating the debilitating effects of excess CO2. We need to remove 100 gigatons of CO2 to save our planet. And, with 35.5 million K-8th grade students in America - imagine the impact our younger generations can have in saving our environment by planting lots of tree seedlings! There is no planet B!
RESOURCES
NextGenTreesUSA will collect and make available images and information about our amazing friends - trees. When available, you will find scientific data, articles, and reports from the Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change as well as images, other educational and interesting statistics about trees. Through these efforts you will see - we hope - their awesome and amazing benefits to humans and our precious earth.
OUR FRIENDS
Let us count the ways that trees are our friends!
They provide awe-inspiring beauty - and shade, shelter, nuts, fruits, and wood for construction. And, sugar and syrup, oils, and extracts. When they die, they become nurse trees to enrich the soil for new growth. And so much more!
