OUR HISTORY

NextGenTreesUSA is an inspired endeavor, built on nearly 75 years of combined business experience in the private, government, and public sectors. As leaders in our respective fields, we formed NextGenTreesUSA to provide a fundraising opportunity that has multiple benefits for the students, teachers, principals, their communities, and the environment.

OUR MISSION

NextGenTreesUSA is ushering in a new generation of fundraising to inspire and incentivize students – pre-school and up – to offer tree seedlings as fundraisers. Scientists agree, trees are nature’s best machine to cleanse and store excess carbon dioxide. Our country needs millions planted, and globally, trillions. Who will plant all of them? NextGenTreesUSA is part of the solution. We build partnerships and offer a sensible solution addressing a challenging reality for our environment, public schools, and especially our kids.

PLANTINGS TODAY = PROGRESS FOR OUR TOMORROWS

Intergovernmental Panel of Climate Change requires removal of 1,000 gigatons (gigaton = 1 billion tons) of CO₂ by 2100 – it’s not that far away! Hold on to your hat – one gigaton is equal to over one hundred million African elephants.

VISION

NextGenTreesUSA (NGT) ushers in a new generation of fundraising - a nationwide movement to inspire and incentivize school students to offer tree seedlings as a product-based fundraising program, benefiting their schools, their communities, and the earth.

A CALL TO ACTION

Scientists explain when fossil fuels are burned, they release CO2 and other greenhouse gases which in turn trap heat in our atmosphere making them the primary contributors to global warming and climate change. The planting of trees is a simple solution toward helping to solve this global dilemma.

MISSION

NGT invites America’s younger generations to join a national movement reducing excess CO2 in the air by fundraising for their schools with tree seedlings. Our country needs millions planted, and globally, trillions. Who is best suited to plant all of these trees? Our students can answer the call!

NGT provides an in-depth fundraising program to enable the school’s PTA/PTO fundraising teams to help students buy and sell the trees for the school’s enrichment programming.

NGT accepts in advance, paid orders for tree seedlings during the school’s Fall or Spring fundraisers. NGT delivers the seedlings to schools beginning in late November-early December for the Fall or in March-April for Spring planting.

NGT seeks to inspire teachers across all curricula to use NGT’s tree seedling fundraising program as a way to motivate students to embrace math, science, and the arts in celebrating the beauty and utility of trees.

NGT’s fundraising program provides opportunities to remember a beloved member of the school, or community, and create a living legacy for generations to come.
